  3. Welcome to the Voyager Presents CD-ROM.

  6. AUTOPLAY FEATURE

  8. The AutoPlay feature in the Voyager Presents CD-ROM is set to go on after 2 minutes of inactivity.  This means that if the program does not sense activity from the keyboard or mouse, it will begin to randomly play preview clips for the titles on the disc.

  10. The default setting of the AutoPlay feature is set to ON each time you run the program.  Therefore, if you do not want the AutoPlay feature to be active, you must turn it OFF each time you start Voyager Presents .

  12. To turn the AutoPlay feature Off from the Main Screen:

  14. 1.  Select the Help button
  15. 2.  Select the AutoPlay button
  16. 3.  Select the Off setting
  17. 4.  Select the AutoPlay button again to return to the Main Screen

  20. TO INTERRUPT PREVIEW PLAYBACK
  21.  
  22. While playing a Preview movie, whether in manual mode or AutoPlay mode, you can interrupt the movie by pressing the space bar.

  27. Here are some tips for best performance:
  28.  
  29. •    Make sure virtual memory is turned off in the memory control panel.
  30. •    Quit all other applications.
  31. •    If possible, set your monitor to display thousands of colors in the Monitors control panel.
  32. •    If you experience audio problems, these may be fixed by the Apple Multimedia Tuner extension, due for public release in early November 1994. We suggest you acquire a copy from your Apple dealer.
